Beauty (and health) Tips!

I figured I'd start my first post back with some beauty tips because those are always super fun! Don't forget, I always love hearing what you guys want to see me post about, so feel free to send me a message with what you enjoy seeing the most    <3

Sleep in the Cold- Or, now that it's cooling off outside, open up a window. There are many reasons as to why one should sleep in a cold room, but the "beauty" reason that I have for you today is that sleeping in temperatures between 60-68 degrees will allow your body to release more melatonin, one of our best anti-aging hormones. GimmE!!! Some health reasons as to why it's also important to sleep in a cold environment include, being able to fall asleep quicker while remaining asleep, burning more calories while decreasing your risk of certain metabolic diseases, and last but certainly not least, it's good for our "lady parts" down south ;)

Silk Pillowcase- Okay, this I love. If you've ever slept on a silk pillowcase, you already know what a difference this makes. It just feels so much better. And it truly is so much better for your skin as it helps your skin retain it's natural moisture. Wrinkles, be gone! & Bedhead? A silk pillowcase will also have your back if you have crazy morning hair. Trust me, once you go silk, anything else feels blah. This is my all time favorite brand of silk pillowcases I have yet to try. It's worth every dollar! Check out the reviews under it if ya don't believe me ;) Did I mention they also carry a Silk Eye Mask!! Heavenly!

Massage Foam Roller- Super random lol but these things are the real deal. Whether you're into working out or not, I HIGHLY recommend using one. They are pretty inexpensive, so no excuses there. It is SO important to constantly continue improving your circulation to prevent and get rid of that unwanted cellulite while of course managing your overall health. Roll out those upper thighs every single day and I can promise you that you will see and feel a difference. These things are like magic when it comes to body soreness as well. I seriously don't know how I'd live without mine. Many studies show that this roller is the next best thing to a professional sports massage. This is the brand I use and I can't say anything negative about it. We've even cut some of ours up to make mini ones to travel with, HAHA!

Hope you learned something new ;) Xo
